A small studio for AI application engineering
Zad Project designs and builds websites, web apps and mobile apps with AI built in, and connects AI to the tools businesses already use.
The name
Zad (زاد) is Arabic for the provisions you carry on a journey. It is a good description of what a project should leave behind: working software, documentation, and the knowledge to keep going without us.
Approach
We start with the work, not the technology. Before suggesting AI, we look at how a task is done today, where the time goes, and what a good result would look like.
Then we test the idea small: a prototype on real data, with its limits written down. Only when it clearly helps do we build the production version, connected to the systems you already use.
AI is one component among many. Most of a reliable AI product is ordinary, careful software engineering: permissions, data handling, review steps, tests, monitoring and a clear fallback when the model is unsure.
Principles
-
Your data stays yours
We agree where data may go before any is shared. AI providers and settings are chosen to match, and access is limited to what each task needs.
-
You own the code
Everything is built in your repositories and cloud accounts. If we stop working together, nothing has to be rebuilt.
-
Everything is documented
Architecture, prompts, integrations and runbooks are written down as we go, not at the end.
-
Clear estimates
Each phase has a written scope and estimate before it starts. If something changes, you hear about it before the work does.
What we build with
We pick tools for each project, but these are the ones we reach for most. Listed here in plain text, because the choice should serve your project rather than our logo wall.
